mass transit

I believe, that if a company such as GM or Ford were to invest in mass transit for the US, in the form of bullet train. This would create jobs and increase the economy.

    Hmm... rumor and some facts indicate in the 1940's GM invested in eliminating mass transit and was fined for it's illegal actions in doing this. ...

    I suppose now that we own GM (US Government stockholdings) we might encourage a change of investment strategies.

    All of which might not be fair to Ford who does not appear to have the same history -- and has not required a bailout.

    All be that as it may, how does this relate to broadband?
